Elena Izabela Capel is an artist that mainly focusses on street photography. She is originally from Eastern Europe and likes to take advantage of the unique urban and rural landscapes that her country of origin offer her. She enjoys finding and portraying contrasts in urban settings.

Originally a piano teacher, for the past two years she has been exploring new artistic paths. Her interest has taken the form of a close and ongoing collaboration with the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, as an event and wildlife photographer. She also enjoys photo-preserving bits of the past that still linger on through her journeys in Transylvanian villages.

She is now working in the UK and is perfecting her craft by pursuing a BA in Photography and Video Art at the University of Bedfordshire.
